What
should you expect from the Beta?
Expect
an opportunity to try out the new system, develop fonts for it,
and share it with those who you would like to use it (such as those
in your business or graphics location). Currently, IMPORT AND EXPORT
FUNCTIONALITY ONLY WORKS ON MICROSOFT WORD 2003. The add-in does
work on 2007, however, the import function does not, and fonts must
be manually uploaded. Downloads in beta are experimental, and we
can only offer limited support. This is great for developers however.
Which
software package is right for me?
If you were sent here by someone else such as your
technology supervisor or tech support personnel, most likely you
should simply purchase and download the Add-In for Microsoft Word
which will allow you to import and display Active Word Fonts. If
you are developing fonts for yourself or an organization, purchase
the Active Word Fonts Developer
What
do I get with my purchase?
You
get a completely beta test software package for your own trial and
experience. No fonts are included, and therefore fonts most be purchased,
delivered, or made separately. You must have the add-in however
to display active word fonts. The big thing however, is you will
get the update to the full Active Word Fonts system FREE when it
comes available!
